A Woman's Vengeance (1947) is a neatly done melodrama with Boyer a victim of a "hell hath no fury" syndrome (or... Gregory Anton of Gaslight gets his just desserts?).

Boyer and Ann Blyth
with Ann Blyth
Taken from an Aldous Huxley story "The Giaconda Smile", it tells the story of an innocent man convicted of his wife's murder.  Boyer co-starred with an earnest Ann Blyth as his young second wife, and with Jessica Tandy in a quite electrifying performance as the woman who takes some very effective vengeance.
