The Sixties Intro

Movies and movie magazines began to change in the 1960s, an era called “The New Wave.”

While great movies were still being made for mature audiences, a trend toward pleasing younger movie fans aged 16 to 24 emerged in “Beach Party,” motorcycle, and horror movies, both serious and comic.

who appeared on more movie magazine covers than top stars such as Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Reynolds, and Doris Day.
