Hi, all you GREAT peeps. - Been prof. actress for 20 years; was on Bway (well, London version!) when he died Easter '86 (notice how his initials are JC too? - well, just kidding; I GUESS). Was WRECK for days. - Discovered JC not 'til age 17, at which time realized Shakespeare, James Joyce, and Jim were the loves of my life. = LOOK, GUYS! Isn't it HEARTENING you all can't live without him?! Root beer b-days etc., it's FAB. - Look: I figure, you got a coupla Greeks. Burbage (1st Hamlet, Macbeth, etc. A couple greats of 18th C, 19th C. (Edmund Kean: 'reading Shakespeare by lightning;' always thought maybe JC was Kean reincarnated?!) Then, 20th C: you got your Brando, Bogart, Tracy; obviously a few amazing Brits (Olivier, Guinness, etc.) But if JC is greatest Amer. movie star of all (I hecking think so), then wow, he's, say, among top 10 actors OF ALL TIME ON PLANET. And THEY couldn't dance and beat peeps up so well, and prob. couldn't speak Yiddish either! - So anyway, the 'Poet of the Underworld,' toughest/smartest/most graceful of them all, From the ghetto to the Stratosphere (made it Ma! thank GOD for the tough, lovely Mrs. C., huh?): just be glad you wisest guys learned so much about FASCINATING HUMANITY from him, 'cos a lotta peeps don't heed his msgs. of LOVE in all those Warner Bros. great stories that showcased him, nor Jimmy C's environmental warnings either, so we going down. But Jimmy, at least you did what you did, you BRILLIANT DUDE. You are DY-NO-MITE, the living end. Keep spreading the word, all! Love to all you great JC lovers, Virginia Hammer - Thanks for the good site, and the chance to warble passionately about J.
