Edward G. Robinson is a crime boss double-crossed by his henchmen (led by Humphrey Bogart), left for dead, but nursed back to health by monks. His new life as one of the Brothers convinces him to change his ways.  Ann Sothern and Ralph Bellamy also star in this delightful, tongue-in-cheek tale.
