Carbine Williams  (1952)


James Stewart portrays Marsh Williams, a man convicted of killing a federal officer during a moonshine raid.  While incarcerated, Marsh is allowed to work in a tool shop, and thus eventually becomes the inventor of the renowned Carbine rifle.  Wendell Corey and Jean Hagan also star.
